Description
Material: aluminium
Due to this blanking plate the hot exhaust gases no longer reach the intake manifold. When the oil from the crankcase breather mixes up with the hot exhaust gases from the exhaust gas recirculation, it will creat a few millimeters thick oil soot film in the intake manifold to the EGR valve, reducing the port diameter significantly. This reduces engine power and increased fuel consumption. The EGR valve must be mapped out from the engine because it can put it into limp mode. You can also use simulator so it doesn’t show EML error.
