Fits for Subaru TD05H VC22 / VF34 / VF36 / VF37 / VF38 / VF42 Turbo Charger. Also fits the IHI VF48 and VH52 turbo.
Fits for Subaru Vehicles with 2.0L / 2.5L EJ20 / EJ25 H4 Turbocharged Engine
Also suits other internal wastegate turbochargers including CAT C13, C15, etc.
Application vehicles:
For 02-13 Subaru WRX.
For 04-11 Subaru WRX STI.
For 04-11 Subaru Forester XT(turbo model).
For 05-09 Subaru Liberty GT(turbo model).
Wrapping your Turbocharger Exhaust housing with Turbo Blanket does three important things:
Length 37cm, width 14cm at widest point, 11cm for most of the blanket.
Turbo Blanket keeps the heat in the compressor wheel that accelerates the turbocharger and that equals more boost.
Our Turbo blanket will radically reduce under bonnet temperatures. That means your engine will run cooler and your intake air fuel mixture will probably be cooler and therefore make more power.
Anyone who has burnt their hand on a hot compressor housing will tell you that Turbo Blankets are a must.
Interior Surface: max temperature rating 2012ºF/1100ºC; continuous use limit 1832ºF/1000ºC.
Exterior Surface: direct contact limit 600ºF/316ºC; radiant heat limit 1100ºF/593ºC.
